Meet Sterling!

Sterling was going for a walk behind his house when two neighboring dogs attacked him, leaving him with a large open wound along his back and shoulder. Sterling's mom immediately took him to an emergency veterinarian where she was quoted a low end of $800 for wound care. As a single mother of four, Sterling's mom could not afford this unexpected cost. She reached out to multiple organizations for assistance but nobody was able to help.

Sterling's mom brought him to our walk-in wellness clinic in tears and out of hope that anybody would be able to help her. With the help of our Good Samaritan Fund, we were able to get Sterling's wound closed and start him on antibiotics and pain medication, all while staying within his mom's budget.

With daily visits, Sterling slowly got better. He prevailed over the ups and downs, and nothing could keep his sweet personality from shining through. He healed well, and now we only get to see him for vaccines!
