The SOS of Ohio Voucher Program provides financial assistance to pet owners that would not otherwise be able to afford to spay or neuter their animals. Vouchers require a co-payment of $20 per dog and $10 per cat. With a voucher, a spay or neuter surgery is free. The copay covers the cost of a rabies vaccination, flea treatment if necessary and other services as needed. In order to qualify for this program, you will need to show evidence of financial need.

Steps to obtain a voucher:

Your first step is to stop by the clinic during our regular office hours.

Please bring your co-payment in cash along with evidence of financial need such as proof of government assistance or a WIC Card.

We will then issue you your voucher(s).

Next, we'll schedule an appointment for you.

Finally, you'll bring your animal(s) in, along with your voucher(s), for their spay/neuter appointment(s).

The SOS of Ohio Voucher Program was established after a very generous donation from the Jean Barger Rice Trust. Thanks to their gift, SOS of Ohio has been able to provide over 150 free spay or neuter surgeries to animals of families in need.
